This is a picture of the cover of Minecraft console edition. It demonstrates many principles and elements of design. The designers used scale and made the main character bigger, to make him stand out more. They used contrast to make the areas where the characters are brighter, to make them stand out more, too, while the trees in the back are very dark. They also used emphasis by including the sunlight, which brings focus towards the center of the picture, where the main character and the title are. The only problem is that I see some areas that should be darker, like the sheep's face since it is not facing the sun. In school, these topics are really interesting. They can help me make my digital artwork better. A problem was that it was a lot to take in the different elements, principles, and tools. Overall, I feel like I need a little more time learning these topics, and when I get more strength, I feel my artwork will thrive.

Last week we did a project in class where we collected data using the TI SensorTag, Put it in a spreadsheet, manipulated the data, and wrote a report on our findings. The activity altogether was a tough ordeal. But, the most difficult part was collecting the data. We had to rush around campus, collecting 20 sets of data. We then had to look at the phone, which had trouble connecting to the device. Then we had to write down the temperature, weather, and where it was. Also, I noticed the data did not make any sense. I thought we had messed the whole thing up, but I think it was because the SensorTag was low on battery. If we had more time, I think this would have gone better. Sorry to be so negative.
